President

Wayne has been around powerlifting for a long time. Starting his career in the early 80s. He has also judged national, and international events for 25+ years. He has been hosting, local, state, and world meets for 15 years.

Wayne assisted with the original WPO from 2002-2007. He brought the WPO back in 2018 after it had been on a 10 year hiatus. Was has seen it all, and done it all with regards to the sport of powerlifting. He is ready to lead the APO to greatness.

Eric Hubbs

Director of Special Olympics, Oversight Manager

Eric is a national and world judge as well as long time lifter himself. He was the South Carolina Special Olympics powerlifting head from 2005-2022.

He also still coaches a Special Olympics powerlifting team out of his gym, Ironman Barbell, that has members competing currently on the state, national, and world stages.

Greg did his first meet in 2000, totaling 1,740 raw and was hooked.

Graduated to multiply and with a best total of 2413, and best individual lifts of 1035/804/777. He has been able to train with the best lifters from Texas over the years at Bad Attitude Gym.

Anthony is a seasoned lifter who has trained with some of the best to ever do it. He is the only male to have done every WPO event.

With a strong business background and his finger on the pulse of powerlifting culture, Anthony is a great addition to the team. 

AJ Roberts

AJ Roberts

APO/WPO-Pro West Coast Ambassador

AJ Roberts is a long-time contributor to the sport of powerlifting. Originally from England, he moved to the United States in 2003 and was introduced to powerlifting by WPO Hall of Famer Brent Mikesell in Spokane, WA. His career later brought him to Westside Barbell, where he totaled 2855 pounds at 303 lbs and benched over 1000 pounds in two weight classes, holding the all-federations world record total in the 308 class for several years. Beyond competing, AJ has served the sport as a coach, multi-federation judge, meet director, and regional director, along with his recent work as the WPO-PRO livestream announcer. In his role on the APO Board of Directors, he will focus on the growth and development of the APO and WPO-PRO across the West Coast and surrounding regions.

Roman Mustaccio

Roman has been competing in powerlifting since 2018, and in multi ply since 2020. He has competed in multiple WPO Pro events and has the Junior All-Time World Record bench press in the 198lb weight class.

Being a student of the sport’s history, he has a strong vision for how the APO will fit into powerlifting’s future.

Jason Ehlert

ason started lifting weights as a sophomore in high school for sports but quickly fell in love with the iron. After college, he got into powerlifting, competing in numerous competitions across the Midwest, achieving best lifts of a 1127-squat, a 600-bench press, an 837-deadlift, and a best total of 2502. Jason has competed at the World Powerlifting Organization in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
In addition to his powerlifting career, Jason has “paid it forward” to the sport of powerlifting by promoting numerous competitions over the past three decades. He is the co-owner of Dakota Barbell/Edgar’s House of Pain in Fargo, ND, a certified judge in several federations, judged numerous high school weightlifting competitions, and directs the Special Olympics North Dakota chapter Push/Pull meet every spring.
Jason also serves as the American Powerlifting Organization’s North Dakota State Director and Northland Region Director.
Eric Sirois

Eric started powerlifting back in 2013 while deployed overseas with the Army. After returning home, he started competing as a raw powerlifter and made the jump into competing in multiply in 2019. His recent accomplishments include posting a 2,072lb total.
After serving as a judge in several APO-sanctioned competitions, Eric was voted in as the State Chair for Connecticut in the fall of 2024. Chances are if you’ve competed in an APO meet in New England, you’ve gotten a press command on bench from Eric!
He hit the ground running in CT, hosting his first APO meet in March 2025, the ‘APO Super Slam’, and then again in January 2026 at the ‘APO New Year’s Classic’. Newly voted into the Executive Board for the APO, Eric brings new perspectives and fresh ideas on how to grow the fed and bring the American Powerlifting Organization to new levels!
