His career later brought him to Westside Barbell, where he totaled 2855 pounds at 303 lbs and benched over 1000 pounds in two weight classes, holding the all-federations world record total in the 308 class for several years. Beyond competing, AJ has served the sport as a coach, multi-federation judge, meet director, and regional director, along with his recent work as the WPO-PRO livestream announcer. In his role on the APO Board of Directors, he will focus on the growth and development of the APO and WPO-PRO across the West Coast and surrounding regions.

Jason also serves as the American Powerlifting Organization’s North Dakota State Director and Northland Region Director.

Eric Sirois
Director
After serving as a judge in several APO-sanctioned competitions, Eric was voted in as the State Chair for Connecticut in the fall of 2024. Chances are if you’ve competed in an APO meet in New England, you’ve gotten a press command on bench from Eric!
He hit the ground running in CT, hosting his first APO meet in March 2025, the ‘APO Super Slam’, and then again in January 2026 at the ‘APO New Year’s Classic’.
