2025 APO National Championship
Come join the APO in York, Pennsylvania at historic York Barbell "The Strongest Name in Fitness" for our second APO National Championships June 21 and 22 2025. All who have completed an APO or WPO-Pro meet since the federation inception in early 2024 qualify to enter. York Barbell's dynamic event center boasts a integral lifting stage, auditorium with bleacher and chair seating, and full size gym for warmups. The adjacent Weightlifting Hall of Fame contains a diverse history of strength sports, their evolution from mythology to early Olympic Games and from the 19th and 20th-century amateur and professional strongmen to the current specialized sport of Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and bodybuilding. York Barbell was founded by the legendary Bob Hoffman, and began shaping the fitness industry through product design, education, competition, and athletic sponsorship. Clearly York Barbell is the “Strongest Name in Fitness,” York Barbell and York, PA are a family friendly "destination vacation" location. York and nearby Hershey, offer many possibilities for a family getaway. This is clearly one of the best locations and area hold a powerlifting National Championship, and is very consistent with he APO tag line "Powerlifting the way it should be".

Sanctioned by The American Powerlifting Organization. All registered participants must have an active APO membership, to be shown at weigh-ins. Lifters are qualified for this Nationals meet if they have completed any APO Nationals meets since the inception of the Federation in 2024. 2026 will have a more restricted qualification.
American Powerlifting Organization rules and regulations will be followed. Please refer to the APO Rule Book.
Entry Fee: $125
Extra age category or event division $50
Note there is no push/pull division, but lifters can entry each as a single lift

SUNDAY JUNE 22, 2025: All Women Open, Masters, Sub-Masters, Junior and Teen Full Power
All single lift (bench and deadlift, there is no push/pull), Men and Women
All Special Olympics, Men and Women, all ages
Weighin: Saturday, June 21
Lifting Starts: Sunday June 22 at 9:00am
Rules:
• Openers must be given at time of weigh-in in kilograms
• Proof of current APO membership must be shown at weigh-in
• Singlet/One piece lifting suits are required
• The American Powerlifting Organization rules and regulations will be followed.
Awards: Custom medals will be given to the first three places in all categories. Best Lifter awards will be given in categories based on the content of entries.
Spectators: Spectators are VERY welcome! You can invite family and friends to join you at the event. The spectator fee is $10 at the door, cash only please.
