The first inaugural APO Iron Independence meet was such a blast, you could have sworn we were setting fireworks off! We had 22 lifters, including NINE brand new APO members, and for some of those new members this was their very first powerlifting meet! All in all it was a great day, everyone had a good time, PR’s were smashed, and we’re already looking forward to the next APO Connecticut meet on January 9th, the APO New Year’s Classic 2027!
