On a slightly chilly day in March, we wrapped up the APO Cabin Fever Full Power Meet at Mass Iron Barbell Club in Hanson, MA. This was our first APO full power meet and just the beginning of the excitement to come. We hosted 22 lifters, a mix of multi-ply and raw, young and old, and they all came to win the custom engraved Best Lifter Trophies from High Rock Made.
Some standouts on the day
Vincent Tanner
This was Vincent’s first multi-ply meet and he absolutely crushed it with a 707.5kg total taking home Best Equipped Male Lifter. He went 6 for 9 with a 282.5kg Squat, a 170kg Bench, and a 255kg Deadlift
Sherrie Simeneau
Sherrie stopped by on her way to the WPO and made her mark on our platform. She finished the day with a 180kg squat, a 95kg bench, and a 200 kg deadlift. At just 19, she took home a 475kg total and Best Female Raw Lifter
Richard Fenderson
Rich went for the biggest Push/Pull total with 475kg. He landed a 180kg Bench and had the biggest pull of the day at 275kg!
Eduardo Cruz
Eduardo took home the Best Raw Male Lifter Trophy with a 625kg total at just 88kg body weight. Also going 6 for 9, Eduardo hit all 3 of his squats finishing with a 242.5kg squat. He struggled a bit on bench but finished with a 155kg bench and a 227kg deadlift.
Lisa Schornagel
Lisa went home with the Best Equipped Female Lifter with a 497.5kg total. Lisa went 8 for 9 with a 197.5kg squat, a 115kg bench, and a 185 deadlift as a 57 year old Master!
