The 3rd Annual APO New England Classic, held at Anchor Athletics and Strength in Concord, NH, took place on May 10th, 2025. The event sold out quickly, drawing lifters from across New England—and even as far as Colorado (shoutout to Alex!). Equipped was king at this meet, with over half of the competitors in multi-ply or single-ply.

• Male Equipped: Nick Testa
One of the most memorable moments of the day came from 12-year-old Braxton Mullen, who took the platform for his first-ever meet as a guest lifter. The crowd rallied behind him with every lift, helping him secure an 8/9 day.
Just one year ago at this same meet, Nick Testa tore his ACL on his third squat attempt. In a show of grit and resilience, Nick clawed his way back this past year and walked away with the Best Lifter award for Equipped Men.
Continuing our tradition of giving back, Anchor once again partnered with The Mighty Max Mega Toy Drive. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the toy drive and helped us support a great cause alongside a great meet.
