The 8th Annual Spud Inc Holiday Bash held at Spud Inc. Gym on December 13,2025. Once again, we had lifters come from several different states near and far. It takes a lot to put on a successful meet, and it all starts with the host venue. Spud has one of the best gyms around and he has invested into this meet as the years have gone by and I’m very grateful for his friendship and support to put on one of the best meets around. He knows what it takes, he’s a former powerlifter and was inducted into the WPO Hall of Fame at York Gym, York, PA this past November. Congratulations on the accomplishment! Also thank you Steve Cox of Spud Inc gym for all of the help you provide to get everything arranged and set up. After finding the venue it then comes down to the staff. Thank you to the spotters and loaders that take care of the lifters all day. They are the unsung heroes, Wesley Clark, Eric Patterson, Dhonte Thompson, Joshua Tebbs and Alex Register. Then comes the table help that keeps the meet running smoothly, Theresa Chambers and Alicia Henry. Then there’s the referees that were consistent in the calls all day, Mike Steck and Kenny Harris. Finally, there wouldn’t be a meet if it wasn’t for the lifters THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT LIFTED!!! We once again are making kids Holidays a little brighter with the toys being donated to Ronald McDonald House in Columbia, SC.
